I had the opportunity to sit at Chef Feker's kitchen with my co-workers this past weekend, and I was so disappointed that I hadn't been to Il Mito sooner! What a treasure! Not only was Chef entertaining, but I learned some very practical, valuable tricks, in addition to having the best meal I've had in a very long time! I was also very, very impressed at the professionalism of the entire staff as I walked around the restaurant. You've done a great job Chef Feker, you've got a gem in the heart of Wauwatosa that will be my mainstay restaurant from now on!

We love to watch Chef Feker on Fox 6, and on his TV show. We finally made it to Il Mito, and loved it as well. We will be back, and hope to have Jon serving us again. Great Experience and even better food!!!

"It’s a warm and cozy restaurant. Definitely need reservations for even a small group. The food was amazing; I had a chicken dish which was easily the best I’ve had in a long time. Much love goes into the food. The energy was great -- there was a large group celebrating a birthday, and one gentleman serenaded the birthday girl w/a classic Italian song -- he had the whole place cheering! Everything on the menu looked so good we had a hard time deciding. We all tried something different so we could taste each other's dish. Every one was tasty and as good as it sounded on the menu. The owner/executive chef, Michael Feker was available to all diners, making it extra special while explaining his dishes and making suggestions. I have never experienced better food, from the Caesar Salad to the splendid entrees concluding with fabulous desserts. Everything was prepared in house to please the guests. Clearly, that was their mission. When the check came from our lovely and most efficient and friendly waitress Courtney, I was shocked! "Hi Michael, I just got your email about the free range chickens. Eugene and I were just there the other week and I had the Risotto San Marzano. I really can't explain my thoughts as I was eating it.... but OMFG! I had leftovers and they were just as good as the day before! "We were in Seattle last week. There, as one might expect, we ate many of the special seafood dishes that lovely city offers. Almost all of them were very good. BUT, last night, we went to IL MITO, and found that its seafood dish (which name I forget but it was shellfish and calamari in a tomato bisque) was by far, superior. I am quite the shrimp aficionado, and these tasted bolder, fresher, and were more crisp than those advertised to be fresh off the boat in Seattle. My husband was served more bread (excellent as usual) so he would soak up the last drop of the bisque to eat. I don't usually order mussels, but those included with this dish were so good, I just may have changed my opinion of the little sucker. Bravo Michael"
